The best way I can find in Google's help pages is how to add 750 keywords at a time, by pasting in the keyword**0.10**url thing. Help - I have 225,000 keywords. I know it can be done - there are certainly many accounts who use more keywords than that. Yes, I expect 99% of mine to be low quality, but that still leaves a lot that I expect to do well. Any tips? I don't really feel like breaking down my list into 300 small chunks and sitting here copying & pasting all day. Thanks...
There's a 2,000 keyword limit per ad if I remember correcty...you're going to have to break that list down no matter how you look at it
Some dude was just saying this morning that he did an experiment with "several thousand" keywords - I suppose that can mean 2000.
garbage in garbage out. I would try to limit the list a bit, then break up the compaigns to fit the 2K limit
That was me. 2,000 is the limit per ad group, not campaign. It wasn't a campaign that was put together in a 1/2 hour. There was probably a week + worth of research and work that went into building the campaign.
Find someone who can code it using the Adwords API. Basically, a script could set up all the groups necessary from a simple text file. I could do it, but you're better off finding someone in your area and someone who'll do it cheaper than $5k Sorry.
Wow, cool - I did not even know they had an API. Hopefully that should provide all I need. I just signed up for it, thanks.
Well, i don't know anything about the 2k limit, but if you are correct, then simply create three identical ad groups and split the keywords between them.
