Bulk email using Hotmails SMTP?

Hi there to send out bulk emails using a software i was hoping if this was possible with hotmail by obtaining hotmails SMTP?

So i would in affect create a hotmail account and then input this in the software along with the password etc and SMTP?

Will this be possible? If so can somebody tell me what hotmails SMTP is?

I do believe that all of Hotmail has switched over to Windows Live Mail. In that case, the Live Mail SMTP servers are:

Incoming Server Settings
POP Server: pop3.live.com
Security: This server requires a secure connection (SSL)
Port: Default SSL Port 995

Outgoing Server Settings (This server is very slow.)
SMTP Server: smtp.live.com
Security: This server requires a secure connection (TLS/SSL)
Port: Default TLS/SSL Port 25

Common sense.

Do you really think they would not limit the numbers of email you can send ? If they were my server, first thing is I would limit the number of outgoing emails per user and per server every hour.

 

haha so true. if you're really wanting to hardcore spam, you may want to just set up your own email server. but that might piss your isp off too...

 

sure thing, there's a limit on the number of emails to be send using hotmail.

try comcast and earthlink, if you have an account with them, you can send up to 80k per day.
