    Hi Guys,

My website is currently using wordpress.
I am looking for an email software/plugin to do bulk emails( few thousands email addresses) to my users.

What software/plugin you guys use? Any tips to share?
I heard 500 email addresses is the max. Better to break down into smaller lists to send out emails.
I do not want my emails sent to end up in the "SPAM" folder of the users.

    Thanks all~!

Whether you end up in spam folders depends on a few things:
How many emails you send per day - total.
How many emails you send per day to each email server - total.
Your users. (I can set anything to go to my spam folder - or to be deleted on receipt. You have no control over that.)

Will you end up in at least some spam folders if you bulk email? Yes, almost guaranteed.

A simple PHP script can send out millions of emails per day, either one at a time, many at a time or all at a time. It's too trivial to write to go looking for a plugin. (Probably around 10 lines of code, depending on your actual need.) But there's no way you can influence whether you end up in anyone's spam folder - that's not up to anything you do - other than sending out emails. If you do, you may. Anyone who told you that sending out fewer than 500 emails at a time guarantees that you won't end up as spam doesn't even know what "clue" means, let alone having half of one.

PHP Mails don't really go to inboxes so its better to use a SMTP service like sendgrid or if you will send regular newsletters try aweber or mailchimp, mailchimp is free until 500 subscribers :)

Who told you that? Emails go where emails go - what generated the email makes no difference. And in almost all cases, emails go to inboxes.
That's what PHP uses to send emails. That's what everything uses to send emails. You can't send an email without using SMTP.

Stop believing what you hear on cartoons - the real world doesn't work like that.
