Hi Don't know if anyone can help me... I've been using the keyword tracker tool for a couple of months now (great tool, thanks ) with no problems. Yesterday evening I tried to upload a bunch of new keyphrases, to a new account I'd registered. We're not talking a lot of keyphrases here: about 30. So I go to the bulk additions page, copy and paste my keyphrases from Excel (in the correct form, ie. kepyhrase|www.URL.com), then click add new keyphrases. It then pauses for quite a long time; no problems there, it's done that before. However... when it finally returns me to the main screen (ie where I can see the list of keywords that it's uploaded, and their rank), there are quite a few missing - the first time I did it, I only got 20 or so (out of the 40 I'd pasted into the bulk additions screen). This was yesterday evening about 17:00 GMT. I then tried it another 2-3 times over the course of yesterday evening; no joy. I tried a different browser; I tried a different keyword tracker account; I tried using a different computer. No joy. I then left it overnight, and just tried again now. I took the account I'd set up for this (philip_read4), cleared out the keyphrases that were in there (using the delete function - any chance of a tickbox/delete feature by the way that would allow much faster bulk deletion?), went to bulk additions, tried again. Same story; only 13 keyphrases actually appear in my list (although I was pasting 40). What's happening? Any idea? Am I being stupid? I've tried everything... thanks for any help! Philip
It may be your web browser timing out on the bulk addition. You might want to try doing a bulk a bulk addition with whatever keywords timed out on the previous bulk insert (instead of redoing them all).
Hi Shawn I really appreciate the response. I'll give your suggestion a whirl and see what happens. If that doesn't resolve the problem, I'll post back here. Thanks Philip
Hi, As a user I have also found this. What I have found works best, for me, is to try 15-20 additions at a time and do no other browsing. Sean (not Shawn)
