Does any think there is benfits to having a buisness name for your services rather then your personal name.Is there any other benfits of setting up a buisness and a name?

I think its just personal preference. The only reason i could think of is name recognition. If you had "SNEAKY SNAKE SERVICES" versus "JIMMY JOHN'S SERVICE" maybe people will remember the company name rather than just a name.

You shouldn't use a long name.

    Well put bradrx7.
    Hello ASHSMI.
In our opinion it is best to have a company name for long tern branding as well if you have a great product or service then you will need and exit stratigy to sale off this as a business. I think it is best to use a company name as well for credibility.
One other issue is if you begin to develop multiple products or services under differant brands it looks better to have company name.
We have utilized a company name for example Viper Logic also because my first name is Lance and there are two really large companies Lance Snack ffods and Lance Campers using this name.
