Reason For Selling: I simply don't have the time to run it.

Suggestions: If you purchase the site and want to keep it the way it is now, I suggest running some domain contests to increase the stats.
I also suggest blending in some google ads as forums. Back when the forum was phpbb, and I did that, I made at least $1 per day. Doing directory
submissions will also bring in some money and traffic. The site made at least $100 a week. Link sales are a money maker as well. Making a directory for
the site will probably bring in money and traffic as well.

    What comes with the purchase:
The domains buildyourforum.com and buildyourforums.com. (I can transfer them through NameCheap.com)
The forum database. (Sorry I can't sell VBulletin because of their policy.)
    Multi-Forums and it's database.

Note:The current text links at the top must stay up until September.

    Starting Bid: $100
BIN: I don't have one in mind atm.

    I only accept paypal payments.

"The forum database. (Sorry I can't sell VBulletin because of their policy.)"

Can you elaborate on this? What would buyer have to do not get the site up a running on his/her host?

    thanks

The buyer probably needs VBulletin so he/she can upload the database to it. I also currently have ucash and Logician's WebTemplates mod installed on VBulletin.

You can not sell Vbulletin license. I agree.

But if its licensed to the site I see no problem, you are selling a site and this works with its own license.

PLease clarify I see no problem on this ... I will be interested in the site only if I dont need to buy a vBulletin aditional license.

I've been working with vbulletin since vbulletin 2 and I do know that vbulletin will allow you to transfer the forum into another name and/or sell it. All you have to do is contact them and notifiy ownership change :)

?? this all sounds very confusing!!

Question: Can we buy your site as it is/looks now and have it working on our own server for the buying price or not?

Only if you have VBulletin. But the database can be transfered to phpBB with a converter.

Yes. Unless you buy it from someone at a cheaper price or pay $85 for a leased license. Or you can convert the database to work with a free forum.

what I mean is what is time in minutes/hours an admin needs to invest into site to make sure it keeps running well and growing effectively?

Well that varies on what the admin wants to do with the site. If you basically want to keep it active, an admin probably needs to invest 1 hour or less a day on posting on the forum and making sure no one spams. If an admin wants it to grow, then the admin needs to spend some time promoting or starting contests. Evenutally the members will promote the site.
