Hi, one of my client have a site where he displays only rss content, text and video and no other static content. so his site gets updated every time the original rss provider site updates. Now for ex. he is having one video feed actually kind of widget thing from thenewsroom.com and using it. Client want to display one Latest video only at home page as a category and more videos on video page. to make it clear --HOME page with 5 different video category with latest video from video sub page (can be rss with link to sub page). -----| Video (sub page) rss videos only as provided by thenewsroom or other video rss provider. i guess you got my silly point is it possible to do that with video as it can be done with text based rss. i've used Last RSS successfully at various other sites.
multi media RSS feed appear to be a Yahoo "invention" years ago. hence you may find most specs and howtos on Y website http://search.yahoo.com/mrss after doing a test feed - make sure to have the feed validated at http://feedvalidator.org/ I have used mRSS for a while ( may be a year or so ) its lots of handcoding for each news item, hence I have stopped mRSS but actually love it a lot and may restart if I find a good tool to create validated mRSS feeds. mRSS and RSS is the same feed - just the "items" are different in their syntax.
