Greetings to all who take the time to read this,

I am a potential entrepreneur wondering if heading the e-route is worth it. Since I was a kid, I've always been a forum lurker and I now want to take that to the next level. I have always had a Passion for video games and writing and now want to put two and two together. I have won a few awards for my musings on various topics and have been published in a few poetry collections.

I want to create a website that focuses on Video Games, though I know it has been beaten to death by millions of others before me. However, I want my website to focus on the forum and the content rather than the money making.

The problem is, I have very little knowledge in regards to design, coding and servers although I have administrated on forums before. I would if I ran a site, want to have it at a point where I could just upload files, and it would be posted to the site. I have roughly $1000 in Capital. Is it possible for me to achieve my goals and run a website? What avenue would be best for me to head down in order to realize my goals?

In this scenario would my only option be to get a partner to establish a site in a joint venture? I'm a Business major and have worked as an auditor so I have some knowledge about what it takes, though I am aware the E-world is different from the "real" world.

Would anyone be interested in setting up a website and being paid for it? Or rather, could anyone offer advice on where I could go from here?

    Regards,
    Omni

    Yes its more than enough.
I would advise you to use the money to purchase a established games forum.
So that you can have everything setup already.
All you need is add the forum content.

I can't offer anything except advice at this point as I am new here. Look around see if you can find one already set up or set one up yourself -its not hard. Use the bulk of your investment in traffic generation. Just my 2cents on it.
