Has anyone come up with a rule of thumb when building backlinks to your site. My question is, how much backlinks i should build for my site per day that should work well with Google? I understand that make backlinks to your site would cause harm to your rankings
This is not always the case. It is depend on how quality and pattern you acquired those links. Most of links that effects negative to the website is the link that website owner manipulated themselves, or easy to detect as buying links. Most of website that have a lot of natural backlinks are come in either of these ways 1. Build popular content - like techcrunch.com 2. Build useful free software - like wordpress.org Natural backlink does mean the natural link to your inner pages (aka. deep links) too.
In regards to you question, to my knowledge their is not a definite amount or a certain number of links that you should do per day so that "it works well with Google". Most people I have talked to have mentioned that the quantity is not the importance but the quality. It seems that it is better to focus on getting one link a day from a site that is similar or related to to your website content than to get a plethora of links from site that have nothing to do with what your site is about. Just like the title of your thread, you want to build links naturally. Having a "set number" of links that you feel you have to do every day really is not natural at all but rather forced or artificial.
i dont know any idea about per day, but for per month 100 back links you can get, which means yahoo back links should be 100.
Never bother about the quantum of back links to your site. Instead pay attention to the quality of contents. Getting back links from related niches is better. The number of links may be even one or two daily. Slow and steady link building is always safer...
i thing when you make naturally backlink (one way link backlink) is very good for your blog. No matter how many it is. But when you make backlink with link exchange or comment in another post, you should be aware. Don't often make it. Or google will saw you as a spammer.
I always wonder about this answer for backlinks. How many of you actually put a link from another site on your site because of its content? When I say content, I don't mean a site that has some kind of tool, but pure content.
I have seen many people just like to make lots of backlinks per day.But I found many people whose site was just banned from google because of quick link building. However I don't like to make more 5 backlinks per day.
Not all good websites are equal in value from user perspective. You may have a lot of natural of backlinks if you produce something useful but may not if someone replicate your success and do the same or better than you.
