Hi there I run a very small website business, and have been using an opensorce for my CMS. The only problem is the signature has to be added to any site I build with this open source CMS, unless I pay for the license. I've been thinking of building my own CMS, so it looks more professional for the business side of things. Has anyone built their own CMS before, or would you have any references/links that may help me out? Many thanks in advance CHEERS
start with any full codeigniter/cakephp tutorial, for the most part they all include a "login" area to change the dynamic content. Then from what you learn there apply it to what you want to build.
I started out building my sites with PHP, until WP came out I was happy with the results for updates, and SEO. This may take some time to learn for my very own CMS. I might have to start this at the start of the new year 2010, and then hit it hard. Sweet then CHEERS
