Hi I have found out via good old Youtube, that free/public proxies on Scrapebox are fine for harvesting urls and checking page rank, but if you want to comment, you need to buy private proxies ideally.. When they say "when you want to comment" are they refering to auto-commenting on Scrapebox when you blog comment on thousands of blogs and NOT when you are getting a list and manually comenting? I mean I dont think I need private proxies if I am going to manually visit blogs, read the blog then comment....albeit the list will be in an excel file from Scrapebox - am I right? Thanks
That is basically correct.... I don't condone anything black hat, but that is about how I use my tools, I have something that searches and collects into a database, all related blogs or sites that might be good to get alink on etc, for me to manually or semi-automatically (not much different than roboform) submit comments, suggestions, listings, etc. No proxies really needed, however if you get more busy about it, use multiple computers etc, it can still be helpful to have a proxy, particularly when running search queries.... It's the requests to search engines that become the problem, if you reach their limits, they start sending you nothing but zeros and you won't get any results, or be able to scrape things ... Ips get blocked that way sometimes too.
define real success... I would say absolutely not, cause real success does not come from scraping boxes, or websites. real success comes from hard work and dedication. "When the voice and the vision on the inside is more clear, more loud, and more profound than the opinions on the outside, then you have truly mastered your life." -Dr. John F.Demartini Just because somebody else is raving about some tool, doesn't mean they are getting real success.
I just do it the old fashion way - "I earn it!". Yeah - I do everything manually. I read the forums / blogs or whatever and stay away from automated softwares. I look at the long term and know that things like SB and Xrumer can lead you down the wrong road. just my two cents...
I would say tools like this, while able to get some success, are really not worth it in the long run. They don't build relationships, they don't leave a lasting impression. At best they are a flash in the pan for anything they bring to your site. But that is just my opinion
For the people speaking negatively about Scrapebox, have you ever used it? It's got about a million other uses other than commenting. In fact, commenting is pretty low down on my list of used features. Scrapebox can turn what usually takes hours, even days, into minutes.
I like what your talking about, alot of people have this anti scrapebox and black hat tools perception though I find that by using these tools to find and create list to build links on is alot of help. I use scrapebox to find links that I then post to manually. Who cares about how u find the links!
