Building links to URLs with spaces.

    Use a hypen as a spacer and you won't have that problem.

    As you can see from your post above including spaces breaks up the link.

    Therefore if you do have filenames that include spaces you need to encode the URL.

    Just rename them or if they are existing pages which are indexed use a 301 redirect.

    I can't rename the pages.

    I just need to know if I should link to them with the spaces or with what shows up in the browser (%20)?

    If you can't rename the pages use a 301 permanent redirect.

    Like I said above, you need to encode the URL (include the %20).

    If you paste the link without encoding it the link will break.

    you should link to original url i.e. the one shows in browser.

    They'll work yes but it is better practice to use a hypen.
