Hello DP Members, I see that alot of sites, specially e-Commerce sites, are getting alot of Links to each product pages of their site (Links to Internal Pages) I see that alot of these inbound links are from urls that look like this (http://xn--hwt51nc2x. com/?q=cars) , and the main search engines are counting these as back links to their product pages. Now I can build links to my Main index page with hard work and rank for my main keywords. BUT how can I build links to my internal prodcut pages if there are over a 1000 internal pages ? ? Is there any body that can provide this service or knows a way to do it. I can't buy 5 links to each product page at $5 a piece, that would be like $25,000 ! ! Please share you thoughts Thanks
Build them one link at a time In all seriousness, don't think of link building in terms of getting links to every single page. You don't need to do that. Instead pick a few pages that you want to build keywords for and then once you get those ranked, move out from there. You won't be able to rank #1 with every page on every phrase. However you can start small and grow from there. Rome wasn't built in a day.
Thanks for the reply 'BlackBeard', I understand that it takes time and I am willing to work at it. It's just that you see some pretty new sites just come out of no where and see that they are definately using some sort of service to get up there. That makes me wonder if I am doing things the right way, trying to work and build ethically while other sites are just working with so called 'bad ethics' Just wated to know how links like these work: (http://xn--hwt51nc2x. com/?q=cars) , I addeda space right before the "com" so its not a link. looking forward to more thoughts
Charlee, those xn--a33ads.com type domains are infact "International Domain Names", they basically translate into domains for different language character sets (Arabic, Japanese, Chinese, etc).
First try to promote or get links for most important pages or products and when you start to get decent traffic and rankings then work on the rest. Go for small set of pages so that you will be satified by seeing the results.
Thanks for the advice Seo expert, I guess thats the way to go. It might take a long time but I guess there is no other way. It just makes me wonder though, as to how some of the sites got soo many links in short periods. Main page is still understandable, but don;t know how for soo many internal pages. And for e-commerce sites it can be thousands of product pages with differnt titles. So they would need alot of differnt anchor texts. Have to keep reading and searching for a way like everybody
You're right, they probably got a bulk discount, but very likely that's what they did. Either that or they created the sites themselves... Anyway, a few links from pages like those are probably pretty worthless. You could do better with a single link on a real relevant site.
