at what number would you say your link building is "to fast" for google. I'm working really hard link building and seeing about, 100-150 new baclinks from yahoo per day show up.... is this to fast? Most of my backlinks are coming from blogs, forums etc.
Maybe go from about 10 per day then multiply by 1.3 to 1.4 per day. I am really not sure. It would be great to hear what others have to say. First Week: Day 1 - 10 Day 2 - 14 Day 3 - 19 Day 4 - 26 Day 5 - 36 Day 6 - 50 Day 7 - 70 First week overall: 225 links
It depends...If domain is new? Does it have PR? Fast link building is bad mostly for new weak domains....
Grabarz is correct. It really depends on the domain you are promoting. If your domain is more than 1 year old then 100-150 links daily is ok in my opinion.
Getting too many inbound links for a new domain might risk yourself for penalizing. As members have suggested start slowly and increase gradually. That way it should work wonders. Cheers!
What sort of penelty would you be looking at? would it show in webmaster tools. How could you remove the Penelty
The penalty will be that your site won't rank well until google will figure out that all links are ok, and you are not a spammer but a website owner that created a web buzz.
The fact is i have been link building for 1 month, add my site to forum homepages and blog homepages, this is deep linking my site into 100s of new pages a day. This is a genuine way of link building, i just hope goolge don't issue a penalty.
Don't do mass link submissions do as what whirlybird20's advice above. Don't wanna Google get suspicious.
I think those penalties are another one of the Google myths. If you build good links manually at 100 or so a day, I have never had a problem. It is those who use software to spam thousands a day that have any problems. Find relevant directories and related niche sites and you should be find. If you are just spamming blogs or forums just to build links, you will end up with problems.
Yeah, I submitted my site using a tool to 2000 something directories, and google took my site off their search engine...
If your site is at least one year old and you build high quality backlinks you will be able to get away with adding more links on a daily basis because the links are high quality.
Let's just say that so far none of my sites have been penalized,...as long as the links from from established sites and from non spammy methods.
wow, I'm glad I don't have any of you on my link building campaign I'd say 1,000 new backlinks a day is fine..
even you get 30000 backlinks on the same day.. its not going to be any difference. Unless your backlinks are all spammy in nature and done by you. Think of big sites. Diggs Youtube or some news source sites. Dont they get 100 000 backlinks from around the world. Do they loose their search engine position? Never Its just if your site is no value content. And you are one man army trying to spam the search engines then you will be in problem. Try to build something useful so people promote you.
