Building links on PR0 pages of high PR directories...WHY?

I think Got backlink from PR 0 page which relevant topic with mine is more useful than PR 3 or more but un relevant with our topic.

 

I want good PR, but honestly I don't see it as that important. I have tons of PR0 links from free directories, and yes its a pain in the ... to submit all the time, but it sure seems to help.
One of my sites has PR0 but holds #1 position for many keywords and phrases. Links Links Links, relevant is better, High PR is better, but my personal plan is to simply have 10s of thousands of links for solid long term stable results.
I wouldn't worry too much about whether they are PR0 or not, and as we all know things are constantly changing. The PR6 link could be PR3 tomorrow or vica versa.

 

I would suggest checking if the directory has a PR of 0 because it is a new site or is it an old one that lost all its PR
as a penalty, such as link farming or something along those lines.. nothing wrong in working with the first case, second possibility, I'd advise against association with banned directories....

 

High pr pages are still important to get links from as they are deemed higher quality, but pr0 links are important if they are deemed relevant to the site you are submitting the link for. Also, having a link within a site that has a high pr gives it more of a chance of being indexed by google in my experience.

 

As another member said in a post here, toolbar pagerank 0 doesn't mean the PR being used in algorithms is actually 0. It's less then 1, it can be 0.5 or 0.00001 but it will definitely contribute towards passing PR Why do you think people give so much importance to interlinking your pages? Internal pages within a site with PR0 also pass PR to the homepage if homepage is linked from all other pages.

 

Yes i agree with you, relevancy of a website is much important than having high pr but not related to your site.
