I suggest you Press Releases Webdirectory submission to free directorys wiill get good inbound links and can achive good rankings depends on the competition Article and submiting to article directorys This gets you baclinks and traffic There isn't an exact number and never there are enouf links as many as posible but not all at oance Regards

I used seoster.com and they were great I also submitted to as many SEO friendly directories as I could find. I made sure that I varied my anchor text (clickable link text) slightly and that I always had my keyphrases in the anchor text. The number of good PR links you need really depends on your competition. In the end, you'd like to have more than they have, but the age of the links matters also. Hopefully, your competitors have few links, so you won't need many to come up ahead of them in search results.
