Hi guys, I do have a site in my country The Netherlands and I want to optimize it for SEO. I have read many food for thought articles and posts and have read that some people say that it does work to have links from an English site to a non-English site (My Dutch site) Note: my purpose to have links is not traffic, but link juice for the SERP. But what is actually the truth? Or what have you experienced? Does it make sense (link juice) to have links from niche-related English sites to my non-english site? I have read a lot but some people are saying YES and some people are saying NO. I am curious to your opinion.. Thanks! Your help is appreciated
Are the keywords you are targeting in English? Every little helps but what you do need is to get backlinks from website that contain your keywords.
Thanks for your post but unfortunately the keywords I'm targeting are not writting in English language, but in Dutch language Problem, huh?
I have experiments on this, i can confirm it works.I ranked #5 for a non english keyword with english only NON-Niche related sites (The website was not optimized for that keyword -no keyword domains or pages, only title- which has a lot competition).BUT also i am sure if those links were on related non-english sites i was going to pull rank #2 easily.
Yea, sure it will work its just it might take more time and effort. Good luck! PS: Try to get a few link from Dutch pages. If you can't then don't worry. It will help though.
Great news there are people that say it does work. I am really looking forward to start my SEO adventure. How many paid links with high PR from an English site to a non-English site do you recommend me for good link juice for the serps?
