Building links and traffic through MySpace- How To Do It

After several years of resisting the MySpace/Facebook phenomenon I have finally made a MySpace page because I kept hearing that it could be a good tool to drive some traffic to my web site. Has anyone had any luck with using MySpace as a traffic generator and if so, what are your best tips and tricks for making the effort pay off?

    Thanks!

Whoops... Thanks for pointing that out. Fixed!

By the way, I'm not specifically looking for info about my personal page, I would love to hear tips in general about marketing through MySpace.

    Thanks for the help!

Myspace might gain you some traffic, although no rise in SERPS.

I've started to do this to promote my site. This is what I've done with the MySpace page, myspace.com/lovemyflash.

It gets right to the point so that when I add people to the account a lot of them end up wondering off to our main website.

Haven't used any of those MySpace trains do gain lots of friends, nor do I intend to... getting on the wrong side of MySpace could end it all for us lol!

Adding manually can get pretty tedious though!!!

Join as many relevant MySpace groups as possible, and chat with your fellow members.
