Building Classifieds website

Sorry if i have posted this topic in the wrong section, as i was confused where to post it.
well I am looking to build a Classifieds Ads website. I don't understand where to start with. I have a domain name.
Friends i want you to guide me how to proceed further.
One more question crawls into my mind, whether i can use Wordpress for Classifieds ads site?

Yes. Go to Settings > Discussion > And uncheck "Allow people to post comments in new articles". That is built into wordpress.
