The more the amount of people visiting your site, the more money you’re likely to generate. Getting blog traffic seems to be the most difficult problems bloggers might have, after all the number of blogs on the Internet doubles after every 6 months. Competition is extremely tight and it literally is the survival of the fittest, there are 3 ways to build blog traffic.
    1. Guest Posting
Guest Posting still remains as one of the best ways to massively increase blog traffic to your site. Basically you are helping other bloggers improve on the content of their blogs and at the same time, strengthening your reputation and relationships with both the other blogger and their readers. When someone reads an article which leaves an impressive element to their mindset, they will probably remember the article for days and even weeks. Curiosity might make them more interested in the author of the post and they’ll most likely visit your site. If your content is amazing, your readership loyalty will certainly improve and people would automatically bookmark your site and repeated views will be counted! Well this is when social networking comes in.

    2. Social Networking
Most of us have Facebook or Twitter accounts we use for entertainment in gaming, chatting with friends and some use it for online marketing. One person, Sharing a post on Facebook or Reposting a tweet on Twitter might not seem significant to most of us. After all, it’s only one person right? Wrong! Every person counts, by creating amazing content for your readers, some of your readers will become what we call “Transfer Agents”. Transfer Agents are the main group of people creating the stream of word of mouth. They spread the message to the rest of their Facebook friends or Twitter followers that this article they just read is spectacular; A portion of the crowd reads the article. If The President of the United States, Barack Obama, shares an article about literally anything tens and thousands of people will read that article! Install a big Facebook Share Button or Repost Tweets option at the end of the article, and if they find their time reading the article worthwhile, they will spread the word.

    3. Forum Backlinks
If you look around the Internet, you would probably notice many people posting hyperlinks to their websites on YouTube videos which would irritate us so often with spam on the video’s comments. In a real world example, for instance, spamming somebody’s e-mail inbox with flood mails of links to their website just isn’t going to cut it. Spam would just make people annoyed and drastically reduces the chance of them visiting your site. However, if you read an interesting article and you see someone post a sophisticated comment with professionalism, you would take their advice as you trust them more. These links to your website are called Forum Backlinks, Google ranks and lists your site according not to the number of Backlinks but to the number of Quality Backlinks to your site. Commenting politely on interesting articles and recommending others to your site will be a great start to promote your site around the Internet.

These are some of the strategies I use to increase my blog traffic, what about you guys?
