Building backlinks with Triond?

Has anyone ever attempted to build backlinks using Triond? For anyone unaware, Triond is a website that allows you to write articles and they will be posted to a networked blog a few hours later.

After looking at the blogs where the articles are posted to - I found that they all are PR4 sites. They allow links and from what I've seen they are dofollow. Is this a good method to grab a few PR4 backlinks? I would of-coarse combine this tactic with some web 2.0, social bookmarking, and other backlink methods.

Not all blog networks are not useful for SEO at Google. Search high quality blogs manually, contact to bloggers and offer them for buying blogposts.

I just thought of this and decided to test it out. I'm not going to go completely crazy with Triond-network backlinks, maybe just a few from different sites. Seems like an easy way to grab a few PR4 backlinks. Thanks for the responses.
