Keep posting backlinks in forums and blogs and that will help with getting your site indexed faster.

Theronn- You have posted an interesting test case. What it seems to prove is that a Google XML site map will not help a new site get pages indexed at all. I have heard others say the same thing.

It proves that Googlebot is much more important. If you don't have fairly direct linking from your homepage to the pages you want indexed, they won't get indexed. That is apparently what Googlebot looks for. I notice you have a link to your XML sitemap on the home page. It seems to prove that Googlebot does not follow XML sitemaps, they are just something for the Google Webmaster section, which apparently is a separate operation. You could put a regular html sitemap on the home page and probably have much better luck.

There are only about 10 pages linked to your home page, those are probably the pages Google has indexed. Googlebot can't find anything else so it apparently doesn't come back very often.

the most important thing u have to know is that PR is not going to give u the results u wanna acheive in ur blogging career -- be it fame or money .
besides pr , u have to concentrate on internal link building and keyword analysis . keyword density plays an important role in bringing at top of SERP .just because u get a pr of 3 doesnt mean u will definitely get UVs of about 1000 or more .
all the best , pal !

    Hi Folks,

Ok, I found the problem. The landing page was completely blank with nothing but a javascript redirect code on it. If you had javascript enabled, it would take you to the next page and you would never notice. After talking to a Google webmaster, he viewed my site with lynx viewer delorie.com/web/lynxview.html. This showed that everything was good except the landing page. I turned off the javascript and went to my homepage and it showed a blank page, no meta tags, no title, nothing. Google was able to index a few pages, this way but their bot had a hard time crawling. MSN and Yahoo couldn't crawl it at all. Once we removed the javascript, google started indexing without any problems. They've indexed about 30 pages in the last two days, so it appears it's working now.

Thank you all for your help.
