Building an email list whilst offering a free download

Hi, i offer a free download that is valuable to alot of people. What i want to do is offer an option for them to input their email and names, before the download begins. Any ideas on how i can do this and if its a good idea?

 

you need some sort of scripting on that page. php or similar thing would do.

 

You need to go to aWeber and signup for their 1st month for $1 deal. After the first month you still only pay $19 per month.

Using aWeber you can make your own opt-in forms and add them to your squeeze pages. They have an excellent list of video tutorials too if you need any help.

 

I already have aweber, but i see what you mean about the PHP side of stuff.

You can also use icontact. when i used them before they had a free trial period of 14days(after that you will have to simmilar fees as aWeber)

remember to put the download link on the "thank you" page
