    Hey all...

A client of mine wants me to promote an existing website to an authority website. I need your help...

She has a website for Posters.
Categories in her websites are : Flowers (posters of flowers), sky (poster of sky), landscapes, animal and so on...

What do you think the approach suppose to be ? Is it right to target all the work to build an authority website ? Or should I focus on smaller niche ?

How can I pick up and decide what is better for me/her ?

Thanks in advance for any help...

    Guy.

Well , you may also wish to build a network of mini websites, all most related... do link exchange on those websites, and also give you links for free...

For example see this high PR website?!
http://www.stuffonmycat.com/ Do link bait and sites like that , and then do a link dropping to your main website as mad :D

You can only become an authority by being an authority: that is, have great content and only start marketing when the content is great.

I was trying to think of a way of saying this that didn't sound so obvious, but there you go - spot on.

Quite true. Also, mcuh of the authority tag will come to the site naturally in that it will accrue natural links, get mentioned in related sites, etc.
