building a website

    i want to build new website by using godaddy.i did not understand the terms ssl certificate,GB transfer,FREE! Software,50 MySQL Databases in their premium web hosting plans.can you explain those terms please?

    SSL - Secure Sockets Layer - encrypting informations of your client and keeping them safe
    GB - GigaByte - amount of traffic that your site can receive
    MySQL - MySQL database, it lets you have a database where you can store informations about your clients, services or any other information as data base.
    Free Software - heck i have no clue what kind of software they offer for free, have you ever tried to e-mail their sales staff and ask them questions?

    if its on a VPS they may install it for you at a request, otherwise they may not offer this if your on shared.
