So Im new to clickbank, and the entire online marketing/affiliate stuff, but have been learning a ton of stuff here.

I have been working on getting a blog setup to promo landing pages and such for my articles to refer to, but had a few questions that I havent been able to get solid answers to.

First off, mailing lists / opt ins.
Everyone here seems to recommend Aweber, I have also heard a lot of adds locally on the radio in my area for something called Constant Contact. Looking at the two sites, Constant Contact looks better... and has a 60 day free trial, but a search on the site here, still shows that Aweber seems to be favored, yet I cant seem to find any comparisons between the two.

Does anyone have any experience with the two services and can offer an opinion?

Second... I have heard folks offering "reports" for folks who opt in for their mailing lists... but I cant seem to find out what a "report" is. Someone responded in a thread here saying it was a PDF of his article... but doesnt seem like much of an incentive to me, so I must be missing something. Any idea?

Last question for you clickbank gurus that use mailing lists, when you get a list from say product A thats in one niche, do you use said list to promote a different product in another niche? Or do you build lists for each niche separately.

I appreciate the time, thanks guys.

I use getresponse and it's been great. I'm not sure with the one you talked about. Awaiting response from fellow members.

I'm a huge fan of Aweber, I have only sporadically had issues and their tech support has fixed it right there and then for me. I use it to manage all of my mailing lists, it is pricey but worth every penny.

After further research seems the main selling point for Aweber is the double opt in requirement that practically guarantees reaching the subscriber.
