    Hey all,
I want to start building my own mailing list with my wordpress blogs...

Do any of you know where I could get a script that would let them just signup easy with Name , Email address so I could gather my own list?

    Thanks in advance,
    Orr.:)

phplist is the best option. There is an addon too which integrates phplist with wordpress.

Aweber is excellent but you'll have to pay for it.

I use aweber on my blog, but it is like the other person says, you have to pay for it. On the other hand it is only $19 which is pennies compared to what you will be making once you get your list going. Also, aweber has great customer help if you need it. Check into it. It really is great.

I use my own TrafficWave.net autoresponder system. You can start with a free 30 day trial to see if you like how it works for you. You will have the capability to collect as little information as you want (name and email) or as much as you want with custom fields and more.

You can also track the open rate for your messages, click-through rates, etc...

If you decide to continue beyond your free 30 day trial (most do), your monthly subscription is just $17.95 per month no matter how large your lists become.

I added a subscription form to my blog and it helps me generate leads on a daily basis.
