Build traffic to a website in exchange for revshare?

Without going into the details of why, does anyone know of a firm/individual that would essentially turn a 100 unique/day site into say 1,000,000 uniques/day site in exchange for revshare? I am not talking affiliates, I am talking marketing wiz people that could turn a site that hasn't launched into a successful site in a few months and essentially get a monthly % of the profits for the lifetime of the site.

I already have a guess, it just occurred to me that it could be a solution that I would chose if there was such a service. From a marketer's perspective, it would mean higher earnings than a salary, and from my perspective, that would mean I can spend more time making money with my main business.

I'm not hiring, I am just curious to know if that is actually a service that some people/firms offer.

If we play with the numbers and change that to 1,000,000/month and, again hypothetically speaking, the site is a quality site that is also viral and has virtually no competition? The site has content that is updated daily. Part of the money earned by the webmaster is reinvested into advertising.

A contract is signed saying that the "promoter" gets for example 80% of profits for X amount of time to reach the site's objective. When the site's objective is met, he/she gets for example 20 % each month the site maintains its traffic objective for the lifetime of the site. Everything signed and with a non-compete agreement.

    So supposing a CPM of 1 $
    1,000,000 uniques month = 10 000 at 80% = 8000 for x number of months.
    After x amount of months
1,000,000 uniques month = 10 000 at 20 % = 2000 for the lifetime of the site for doing basically nothing and strong clauses for non compete.

Supposing the site lasts 2 years and the agreement is that the site must reach 1 000 000 within 3 months.
3 months at 8000= 24 000 (less as the site doesn't start with that many users)
21 months at 2000=42 000 (more assuming the site grows)

$ 66,000 - From a wiz's perspective, after the three months, this becomes more or less a pension. Doing it for more sites = bigger pension and not putting your eggs in the same basket. A successful site will likely not close or change hands after two years i(and a clause can be added that they get paid for X amount of months if the site is sold).
From the website's owners perspective, it's like outsourcing your marketing and getting rid of the headache that comes with it, leaving it to someone who has stronger knowledge and the right connections allowing him/her to run the rest of the business without the headaches.

Everybody is protected by contract, the content of the site is updated daily, it is viral (but not spammy) and some money is reinvested in advertising. So hypothetically speaking, all the ingredients are there to make a successful site, it just needs someone/firm specialized/willing to create the buzz and promote the site to make it big. And by proceeding with revshare, you eliminate all the junk.

Again, this is just out of curiosity, it occured to me that this could potentially be something I would be interested in.

You might find someone new to take it on, but not likely a marketing "whiz." Most will be happy to consider a percentage based on results, but on top of a base amount. To take something from nothing to 1,000,000 uniques a month would be far from easy. They might be spending the vast majority of their billable hours on your project, and seeing nothing (and losing the ability to bill those hours elsewhere to earn an immediate income) for several months. A serious marketing whiz (who could get you those results in that time frame in a way that would be maintainable) will already have a huge demand on their time, with essentially guaranteed income that might even exceed what you're talking about. So I doubt the majority would find that appealing.

However, I know someone recently posted a thread saying they were interested in something similar (from the service provider's perspective). I don't remember where it was, and can't speak for their credentials, but obviously some people are willing to do things like that... just not likely people with a good bit of experience and strong demand on their time.

If there is such a company, I want to work with them also. And if make money from it, I can give that company half the revenue.
