Ive got a site in mind where the draw would be that people upload a picture & vote on other peoples pics. Everyweek the pic with the most votes would receive a free item of somekind. I also want them to be able to post comments on the individual pics & have the pics searchable through different criteria; guys, gals,funny, gross, etc... Affiliate/adsense links to be placed throughout What would be the best platform to base something like this on? Im thinking it could be done in blog format with wordpress, with every pic being submitted then added as a post by the admin (me). That way they could be tagged, commented on & rated easily. But WP is the only tool im really familiar with, so doing some research into what other options are available. Ideally though the pics would be uploaded automatically, with the user supplying the relevant tags by ticking boxes or something. Suggestions or comments would be appreciated. S.

Having had a look at this phpld photo script slow I don't think that the $25 per gallery will really interest the original poster. Just got a feelin' it won't be what he/she's after really.. perhaps flickr would be open to offers to borrow a bit of their code?
You are right, not really what im looking for. There are plugins to incorporate flikr, which im testing now, but the whole idea is to have the content be user submitted. Seems like a bunch of extra work if they need to email me the pic, then I upload it to flikr, then post it to my site. Ideally im looking for something that will allow users who have registered, to upload their photos to my server. Then I can moderate them from there & incorporate into the gallery. In the gallery, anybody could post comments & rate the pics. Im trying to find something to streamline the process, so that it doesnt take me an hour everyday to manually upload & imbed S.
