Build link exchange page?

Hello!

I have a website which uses Joomla and I also have a link exchange page. You can check the page here: http://www.vietnamsunrisetravel.com/link-exchange
I used the component called JV-Linkexchanger to build the page.
I were wondering if using this component can affect the quality of the listed links? Is there any difference between a manual page which I make myself then manually upload the links and the page that is made by the component?

I'd be very wary of creating such a page. Apart from the fact that you're advertising the fact that you're exchanging links (which Google doesn't approve of) you're much better off threading a link into relevant text.

Such pages are not the way of the future...

 

My SEO mentor, guru, guardian has informed me that the CMS has done as good a job as if it had been created manually...

 

As long as you can remove links you don't want to have there and which could hurt,you can use the automatic tool.

 

the automatic tool and manual is just the same. They wrote the A HREF html tag in the same way.

 

I don't see how it can hurt even going forward
