hello i setup new car classified ads a few weeks ago, i post new ads by my self for few days and untill now. but still no visitor/ new ads from visitor.. i already put banner on a few related website for promotion , submit social book marks... but still no new ads submission from visitor.. any advice for strategy to build new classified ads thanks
You have to wait for sometime and let people know about your classifed service meanwhile keep promoting your website with banners and advertising.
If the ads are new and have photos and are not yet on your local craigslist, kijiji sites, then post the ads on these sites with a link back to your site for more photos. I have worked with a client in the past who did something similar and this method has work great. Just make sure you don't look spammy.
You might try a give away type program for anyone posting an ad. Something similar to giving a free report to building an email list. Maybe how to make money on sites like craigslist...
if you are on facebook twitter etc.... try socially putting your site out there... gotta try different angles

People setup something then after a weeks ask where is everyone...everyone is on the sites that have been up for years.... Do you have anything that these other classified sites dont have? Be more realistic...it will take you lots of work, lots of advertising, then when you are done, do it all over again... and then it still may take you a few years just to get going, and this goes for any sites in very saturated markets.... Just because you setup a site, and make a few posts means little to nothing... whatever you have indexed now is sitting at the bottom of many millions of other indexed pages, and from those doing the exact same thing as you... These days, you have to fight your way up, and there are still no guarantees. most simply get bored, and give up once they realize the riches are not coming as fast as they want.... It just does not work that way....
