Well there is no definite answer, some people say conversion is better with your own website, some says its worse It all depends on the product Only way to find out is to test
You can just use the url from your affiliate link on some pay per click sites. I would make website also and try to get some search engine traffic. You will need website if you use adwords to advertise also.
If your going to use PPC, I would use your own domain than presell them and direct them to the hoplink from there. Direct linking might work for a bit, but other marketers will catch on and bump you out of position is you manage to find a profitable system.
I think a mixture of a website that contains a link to your click bank item is good to advertise multiple items that might grab a surfer's attention. It doesn't cost much to get a website these days. You can use microsoft office live basic for free. They will register you domain and host for $0 dollars. Here is my free site generalpeppers.com. The only thing bad about the free service is that there are limited template choices and control on the design of the website. I also use godaddy to host. I paid for the domain name but have free hosting so I do not have an out of pocket expense. You can check it out at generalpepper.com. I am thinking about paying the 3.99 a month to get rid of their advertising and google adsense at the top of my site.
Hi, it really depends on your website promotion method. If you are using Adwords, the answer is no, do not direct traffic directly to the affiliate sales page because your ad campaign will suffer from poor quality score since there are dozens of replicates out there. But if you are using other PPC search engines, it is still alright. Actually, the best way is to build a content rich website in the niche and promote the affiliate product as a recommendation. Weave it into your content and it is excellent presell stuff. You can pick up some tips from my free report of how to effectively market Clickbank products using a sales funnel ie using websites or landing pages.
Direct Linking through AdWords can be a cash hole to your bugdet, you'd better known what you're doing with that method otherwise stay away from it. Pre-selling a product through a review page of your own, or grabbing their email for later selling is even better, I think
Direct linking for Adwords will only work if you are top bidder on the search term. Google won't display two ads with the same display URL. So you will probably find the merchant is advertising his/her product and paying a lot more than you will want too. If you use a landing page, you will get much lower CPC and possibly pay only a fraction of what the merchant is paying to get in the top 3 ads.
It is better to send to product page directly, unless u want to override something in the sales page. For the first thing those sales letters were written by somebody very professional than us. It is really very difficult to convince them without very good marketing sense. Though testing should be done (on a fraction of visitors), since it can increase sales.
