    1. I typed : forums.digitalpoint.com in FireFox browser and all I could see the page is Google. (Image is uploaded.)

    2. Then I typed : forums.digitalpoint.com in IE it naturally came to forums.digitalpoint.com.

    3. I have saved the webpage as complete as mentioned in No. 1 above and uploaded here. DP programmers can have a look and find out what caused this.

Image Uploaded Here (As No. 1 Above).

    NEED COMMENTS FROM SHAWN.

What does that have to do with green reps?

Looks like cache issues on yuor machine to me, nothing to do with DP.

I've looked, and couldn't see how that proved anything.

Sometimes browsers get it wrong, to be a genuine bug it needs to be repeatable and repeatable for multiple users.

Information I'd request before I was going to chase this includes
    * how many other tabs were open - and what was in them
    * version of firefox
    * do you have auto login for dp

but it's not for me to chase...

Shouldn't you be reporting it to the Firefox developers?

Not sure what your question is...

    1. There was another Tab open in the FireFox then.
    2. I will tell you the FF version later
    3. Did not enable auto-login as I visited DP Forum at that time for first time that day. I tried 2-3 times and the result was the same GOOGLE.

SHAWN : Welcome to my thread (Is it my thread or your thread ? As you own the forum - LOL) I thought at first that DP was hacked, so I reported it.

Did you check the HTML code I uploaded ? What does it say ?

Sometimes when you close a tab, the url remains there in the address bar. Oh & ipconfig/ flushdns can sometimes make one's day, trust me. ;)

I think you have "search from address bar" enabled in firefox...(Not sure if that option is there in firefox, or what it is called.)
You probably didn't type the "http://" part as well. That might have activated the search and took you to google...
    Bye :)

    I received 4 red-reps for no reasons for this thread. Anyhow all red-rep givers got themselves a red-rep each. :D :D :D :D

I know what you are referring to but I don't know if that's because they were relative urls that have been saved as complete.

However your inability to come right out and say "this is what worries me" and put the relevant snippets in the post makes me wary. It's like you've set up an elaborate hoax and you are getting frustrated because we won't bite.

Ok I am pasting the code here.

BTW anyone in this thread ever heard of Anti-Virus checking ? It checks any file if it has virus. LOL
