Hi guys, firstly awesome site guys, best on the web in my opinion . I have just completed stage 1 of my clothing site http://www.projectsclothing.com I've started using google adwords to get "the show on the road". I'm happy with my CTR, I have 3 campaigns all with above 6% CTR. I've had around 200 people to the site in 2 days but made no sales. I was wondering what the conversion rates on clothing sites, I was under the impression it was between 2-4%. I know the purchasing process works as I have made sales in the past. Just wondered if there were any obvious problems. My traffic is fairly targgeted, if someone is looking for a brand, we have a fair selection, but is the search on brand and type of clothing, eg. "gstar jacket". Is this term too broad? Also, I'm just starting out on adwords and wanted to know how much people fisrt spent to begin with just to learn about adwords, there market, and the amount you would "blow" in order to learn and when the point would be to give up and call in an expert. The question ignores time as a a factor. Your thoughts/views please?
