Hi all, Im new to Adwords so i thought i would enable the "Budget Optimizer" to automatically adjust my CPC. The bad thing is that im paying anything upto $1.35 per click which seems a little high to me. The good thing is my ad is maintaining 1st position. So far i have had the campaign running for about a week with 3,541 impressions 163 clicks and 1 conversion. Would you say that using this option is a more cost affective way or should I use the convensional way of adjusting CPC manually? does anyone else use the "budget Optimizer"? Thanks
With Budget Optimizer you should be improving number of clicks. Price wise, the cost will be not much different.
In all honesty, it depends on a number of factors - your targeted niche, your competition etc. However, once you get a greater grasp on things you may consider setting things manually. If you really want to save money, increase your quality score by a) rewriting your ad or b) optimizing your keywords for relevance. Hope this helps
