Budget needed to get site to first page for top key word

    I'm interested in hearing you opinions on how much $$$ it would take to get a site that is currently on the 4th page for the search term:

    "foreign currency exchange"

    to the first page.

    Hard to say but with $1000 - 2000, you can carry out a massive link building campaign with the following traffic building strategies:

    1. Article marketing
    2. Forum posting
    3. Social Bookmarking
    4. Press Releases
    5. Submission to directories

    Just my humble opinion.

    Well, I'm doing a similar thing. Currently I'm just off the front page for a particular search term with the same number of results as yours.

    It cost me about £30 and a lot of work.
