Buddy Press is cutting off my posts

I have a website set up using buddy press and the posts delete after a few days and I dont want them to. I'd like for them to continue on in the forum and create page after page of peoples posts yet after a few days once a new post is created one falls off the bottom. What can I do to stop this from happening?

 

You can also disable the buddy press plugin or set no the the option "auto delete archive posts"

 

I am unsure of how to do this? There doesn't appear to be an option in the buddy press settings to change the auto deletion.
