What kind of value would you put on buddy .com? pizza.com sold for 2 million+, and buddy has some obvious social network potential... any ideas?

I am new to domain trade. So, may not be accurate. But as far as I believe. You can make some money near mid $xx,xxx

 

it is not mine, but I know the guy who owns it. We were talking about what the value of it might hold. he bought it back in 1992 or something. He's got no intention of selling unless it is a grossly high number.

He can get mid XX,XXX for it if sold to right buyer or else low XX,XXX to reseller.

I would say this domain could easily catch mid-high $xx,xxx and possibly higher if you can find a motivated buyer or end user. Very nice domain!

 

You could get some good cash for that. If you wait a few more years you will be able to get even more

 

mid to high $xx,xxx undeveloped.. the site thats up right now really isn't that good... the domain itself is good though... right now expect somewhere in the $50,000-$85,000 range... wait about 3 years though to sell it when the market gets more push for that domain... you should get around $150,000-$200,000 easy.. ^_^ Excellent Domain!!!

 

Great domain name - highly relevant to Instant Messaging networks.. to the right buyer I could see it being sold for low $xxx,xxx - but it can only appreciate in value over time. I'd be surprised if he hasn't already had big offers from AOL, Yahoo, Microsoft, etc.

Yes, if he/she have no urgency to sell this domain, ask him/her to wait for couple of years. Or if possible wait even more.

It is a pretty nice domain. It could be very profitable. Say he sells it to someone who is interested in making another competation for facebook & myspace, the site could be famous. I would say it could easily sell for $1 million if sold to the right buyer! else mid-high $xx,xxx

You can probably 10x the value in 5-10 months.

 

now thats a domain with real potential! I think it speaks for itself, it would probably reach $xx xxx without a problem but I think it could reach a lot more.
