Well i check the BST Sites section like every day like most members of DP thats looking to buy/sell sites, to see if any intrest me.

In my option its getting like Flippa and kinda out of control.

You are getting people selling forums that have just brought a domain name and used the backup to make a forum , and after they sell it they do it again and again with new domains and the same backup.
Here is one doing this very thing http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2482720

Not just that but you are getting people selling the get rich fast sites you know the ones i am on about the Facebook Likes, Google Likes, ect with the titles "5 in 1 Social Seller Site. Making $150 Month bla bla" you know the ones that they say you will become rich and make $xxx a month but the sites new and have no traffic or sales.
Sales thread example http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2484960 and http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2484028

There is also way to many thread with people selling sites and only thing thats in the thread is..

    or

    Sales thread example http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2484456

I mean is it hard to follow the thread here http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=48847 and give us more info about the the forum is about , rev and traffic it gets , i mean at the end of the day your trying to sell the site if you want to sell a site give us info about what your selling!

Then there is the people Selling Sites like makes $200 a month , then inside the thread there is links to flippa.com or ebay.com , if i wanted to buy from ebay or flippa i would of gone to ebay or flippa to buy a website, i guess this brings me to this thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1699129 people just do not read now days!
    Sales thread example http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2484631

Also i like the way i see people selling there site and 2 or 3 pots below you get some other idoit posting there sites for sale as you can see in this thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2484631

There is way too much junk going on in the BST at the moment and if somthing is not done its going to get a lot worse.

Why not redone the BST Sites part?
Why not make everyone ready the TOS , Rules? Like http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1699129 and http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=48847
Would it not be better to make sub categories like ... sites under $50, Sites over $100 , sites over $250 ect? or categories like Junk sites, blog Sites, Forum sites , Looking For sites or somthink like this kinda thing

I do not think i am the only one thats getting sick of this and whats going on in the BST sites part or maybe i am , but i will leave this to debate about.

Maybe this is a rant but it is 100% truth.

I have to say every thread i think is doing wrong or breaking TOS/Rules always gets reported by me, just a side note

And there are other serious issues in the 'Services' section. Some threads are a week old and they don't follow the rules. I am not sure why this is happening.

Unfortunately there's no bullshit/scam filter option.

I totally get SKULL, although a free market is hard to moderate.

Maybe a few changes can help (even if a little bit). Such as mandatory domain and verification (even if its visibility is optional) when posting a WTS. And only the option of WTS/WTB in the sites section (anything else shouldn't be there?). I'm sure other small changes could be made to improve the situation a bit.

Guess you did not read my whole thread , or you mistook what i was trying to get out there.

My post was about how much crap if going on in Sales BST , as i kinda stated with links in the thread, i have to say nice work on sorting the people out and stuff in the thread examples i have in the first thread.

But it will not stop others doing the same.

I think any changes that can make the BST Sales part better than it is and keep most of the ideas and scammers out, i mean most people do not verification there sites for sale , if you made that a have to to sell a site most of the issues would be gone.

As i stated in the thread i made to thread to make a debate out of it , but at the end of the day its upto you Shawn to make the changes its your forum and you have the final say

I just see a decrease in DP over the last few years i think there is a need for somthink to be done , changed or made better, before DP gets worse.

    Totally agree here!

So many scammers on the BST.

Then one is told, see a bad thread or post, report it.

One, BST needs mods and admins that actually go to each thread.
Two, and clean it out! Big time!

I don't even really participate other than to report the obvious idiots who post sales threads against the rules - there is no shortage of them though.

Shawn has mentioned himself that he's applying some long term changes that will probably cut the bullshit going on. Please remain patient and come back in like 5-10 years.. or never come back, there are better forums/marketplaces out there..
