BST site for sale, url must required

    I just noticed that there are seller at site for sale , who refuse to show their site url in their thread. I guess this is not good practice, it's a trick to keep their thread on top because members keep posting "PM me more details" or other bump post that will push their thread to the top of the page again.

    If they don't want to show their url in public then they can used a redirect site like tinyurl.

    If they are not hiding something why don't they just post the URL of their site. I hope this will be added in the site for sale rules.

    Been suggested many many times.

    There are legitimate reasons for not exposing the URL. If someone does not choose to show URL, he/she must accept private messages from those members asking.

    And no, they may not use tinyurl or similar services in a thread.
