BST forum rules clarification ...

So in order to avoid getting infractions or worse I wanted to clarify something here that seems a little vague on the BST rules thread.

I understand that posting to promote affiliate links is a no no, however are posts still allowed where we offer to pay for sign ups to various programs ? It seems that this is not specifically banned, and rightly so as many programs allow for incentive offers. If so then how do we send the link to the interested parties without getting caught in the "sending affiliate links via PM" rule ?

Just want to be clear and stay on the right side of the mods

 

If you're essentially an affiliate of the program (you get paid when you pay them to sign up), then I'd delete it / give an infraction for it. If you were paying them to sign up for something of your own, I wouldn't.
