Hi, I just started using auction format to sell some of my domains. I set the end time in 3 days, but every time there is new bid (1st bid) the auction time bumped to 6 days, why is that?

You would not have set it to 3 days in that case, rather the option to end the auction 7 days after the last bid.

    Hi Shawn,

Similar problem here too. I set an auction time to 24hr's but the auction ended without a bid. I then received a bid outside the 24'hr's and it set the auction to 7 day's.

I tried to edit the thread or at least tried to find a 'edit time option' but it doesn't appear that there is one available.

Can I ask why there isn't a edit time option and if one could or would be added to the marketplace in future?

    thanks.

You can edit the auction time if you relist it. Although something definitely not right if you got a bid after it ended. What's the URL?

It wouldn't make sense to allow people to alter the auction time without restarting it. For example if the seller decides after the fact that the high bidder isn't enough even though it's over the reserve they set, they could just keep extending it forever so it never ends.

Fair enough that makes sense. So if I want to end my auction thread I'd just press sold? I'm thinking of ending it in about 24hr's from now.

Ya, the "Sold" option will basically take it off the market.
