Can you guys have a look and advise me how can i get my site to page one on google for the keyword BSNL broadband as its on rank 33 right now and i have been trying really hard for the last 6 months no luck my site is www.indiabroadband.net any suggestions would be much appreciated

I have started doing it now but the thing is that there are a few extra heavy weight sites on page 1 and 2 and i have now dropped to rank 50 my home page is pr2 and those sites are like pr8-9 some of then 7-8 through to page 3 on google do i still stand a chance ? its not gonna get much traffic but i need those people to populate my forum and its been a bitch for the last 6 months dont know what to do
Update for keyword bsnl broadband : my site is on the second page for BSNL boadband now hopefully i will make it to the first page and anyone looking for bsnl broadband will land up on my page
Update : I think i have made it to page one now but it keeps fluctuating spent a bit to buy these 3 links i guess thats what pushed it a bit two are pr7 pages with anchor text bsnl broadband and one is a sitewide link on a site with home page pr6 and all three sites are broadband related so hoping for some more good results soon. I am spending $145 per month on all three links put together isint it too much ? or is that what it costs
update : my page now steady on page one but its in the bottom half need some push on this .please suggest something i can do to get to top now may be 2nd spot some how this is the page i need to get ranked for keyword bsnl broadband
hi There your site is poorly optimised try putting your keywords( bsnl broadband) in your page tittle ( as they are all the same) Index page is best. also create a bsnl broadband dedictcated page ( rich with bsnl info) with a link to from the index ..page using the keyword as the anchor good luck
Alright i have made some changes now and managed to get to rank 7 as you said make a dedicated page with keyword I have done that and it did help a lot. BSNL broadband now ranks at no7 on google.co.in and thats what i am concentrating on. I bought some links on high pr pages aswell a few pr5 and 6 pages and a number of pr4 pages but its only been a week now so will wait for the results on those in the mean time any more suggestions? I have set up a new blog to give it a push dont know what you guys think of it , is it a good move? i got this domain BSNL broadband hoping that it will pust my forum to rank 2 atleast Any more suggestions?

Get inbound links from indian sites. By indian I mean sites hosted on indian servers, .in domains. I see the site is hosted in the planet's texas dc, consider moving it to Indian IP space, like reliance

Holy s*** Is this a joke? the prices in India for hosting are as if i am buying gold. Its atleast 20-25 times what i pay now any cheap ones in India or am i hitting a wall there ?
