I gotcha... Nah, no day time TV for me... No local news. Just CNN.Com, NPR, WLS, WISN (all via radio and or iTunes) and a heavy dose of HBO mixed with "American Chopper". Oh, I like to watch Fox News as well :)

I spent way too much time in the cold today installing a Mini ITX with 3 wireless cards (big ass hotspot) at a 220' tower. I guess you can say I am a bit edgy today... It's cold here!!!

Trust me, I have been saying that long before you heard it from the President. A lot of us have. I think the first time I mentioned re-writting history was just after the 2000 election, where many decided that George Bush really lost. Many still claim that today.

Julian, you remind me of my Lab. You seem to follow me where ever I go.

Celebs are in the spotlight all the time, otherwise they wouldn't be celebs, therefore, everything they do, good or bad, is subject to our judgement, and that's why they try to find out what people want them to say, and then they say it.

Free speech is good and appreciated but the point is that they don't do say what they think, being after public approval so they can live off being popular, that's their job, or rather, how some do their job.

George Bush is against terrorism, terrorism is against George Bush, down the road you have to choose. That doesn't mean you have to approve 100% either side, but eventually and given the circumstances there's no third way, sorry.

BTW, I got some rep green and red, but I wish the green repper wasn't anonymous, as I like to thank green reppers specifically, I don't care about the coward and anonymous red reppers, probably liberals, who cares? :)

Hard to imagine some would be so disappointed. Then again, not really.

Even though I didn't rep you either way, it's no wonder why you get them when you show how ignorant you are by judging an entire group of people, especially the more open-minded, reasonable side :p

Who's disapointed in Bruce Willis? I'm a big fan of the Die Hard collection myself :)

You have to take things for face value, what he did is meaningless and it gets publicity simply because society is infatuated with TV stars

Didn't he also promised $1 million to anyone who captures Saddam and afterward he said because they are soldiers, he can't pay them?
He could have donated the money to veterans but he didn't. He got some publicity out of it last time too.

I really hope that this time he has to pay out, so he will stop with his cheap tricks for the publicity. ;)

Well in that case I corrected my dumb spelling error in the title, eg "whinning" to "whining" - doh!

I offended some nice people when politics came into play 2nights ago. I used to be good about taking the high ground. Sort of dissapointing effort by me.

If someone gets offended talking politics on a "General Chat" section of an internet forum, they have bigger problems IMHO. There is no right or wrong IMHO. We are all just discussing our opinions. If someone takes something you say here that seriously as to get "offended", I'd be a little concerned about their mental stability.

I may disagree with a great many people here, but I certainly do not dislike anyone here. It's just conversation. Some people just need to lighten up a bit.

    Which is why I don't discuss politics w/ my friends....ever. I shouldn't here either...and I usually try not too. ;)

My father-in-law is always trying to provoke me into arguments but I just change the subject or agree w/ him.

Damn. That is something I will never figure out. I have a great friend I met in college. We get together once and a while, when we can. Kids, jobs, and other responsibilities make it difficult, but we do it when we can. We are on opposite sides of the political equation, but get along fantastically. We have some pretty heated discussions, but there is never yelling, and no one ever leaves feeling pissed off.

Some people just cannot seem to accept another person's opinions and leave it at that. With those people it is best not to talk religion, politics, or sports :)
