it's -8 degrees celsius (17.6 degrees Fahrenheit) outside. It's so frikin' cold trees are all covered with ice and it hasn't even snowed. It's just really really cold. How's the weather where you are?

It's quite cool and windy today in the Philippines. But I am in the tropics so it will never get as cold as I would like my Christmas to be.

It's getting cooler here in India though not as much as in the north. The weather is unbearable during the summer though :(

Sometimes it is -30 celsius in some east-european countries.

In UK atm it's around +3 celsius. Maximum lower temperature was like -10, but very rarely.

In the Philippines, you don't find it too hot or too cold. If you want it hot, bathe in the sun; you want it un-hot, stay in the shade; you like it cold, stay out longer at night. Europeans and Westerners want it here because they enjoy the heat of our tropical sun; Middle Easterners find worth their longer stay the cool waters and colder evenings that we normally have.

I was born and raised in the Midwestern part of the U.S. and I recall those brutal winters when the temp would drop to 0°F (about -18°C). Even in "balmy" Southern California where I lived for several years, temperatures this time of the year occasionally dip into the low 30's Farenheit.

Now that I'm living in Metro Manila, Philippines where the early morning winter temperatures hover around 18° C I don't know whether I could ever adjust to U.S. winters again.

It's pretty cold here in California but not as cold as you guys. The winds have been blowing pretty hard the past few days and right now it's about 53F. Late at night, the temperatures would sometimes drop to the 40's or high 30's. Last year, I don't remember it being this cold. It would just about around high 50's or low 60's.
