I have a problem with my temporary files, browser history and cookies being deleted when I turn off my computer. I'm wondering if this is a function of Mozilla Firefox which I recently installed as my default browser. I've set my Firefox browser tool options to "remember history", set my Norton Antivirus to leave my temporary files alone and chatted with an agent there to ensure that my AV program is not the cause, but the problem recur. Even my Google tool bar gets deleted, and every day I have to re-enter it, along with my user i.d. and password into sites such as DP, even though I've checked off "remember" me. Solutions, anybody?
