browser loading behaviors

    *Same site
*All browsers have visited it previously (cached)
    *Same pages on the site
*NO flash and just the right images, icons everywhere

Firefox 3.5.3 - When going from one page to another on the same website, it loads smoothly. Meaning, the loading indicator swirls, then renders the page in full.

Internet Explorer 6 (yeah i got an old one lol) - Almost the same as FF but sometimes clears the page first. By "clears the page", I mean it briefly blanks screen (or just portions of the page) before the page is fully rendered.

Google Chrome 2.0.172.43 - Sometimes clears the page first or portions of it, then I notice that the way it goes through the elements from top to bottom is very noticeable. You can see portions of the page loaded late.

Opera 10 build 1750 - Almost the same as Chrome, but rendering is smoother.

Of course each browser is still very quick in rendering, so it's something that is not really a bother. It's just how smooth it does it. I'm just sharing these observations and wondering if you notice these too. Probably I'm just too bored right now to be looking at this. Then again I am still a big FF fan but Loving Chrome a Lot, and waiting for it to go to out of beta. LOL! :D

That's quite observant of you. Browsers have improved a lot in page loading time. Although some have become bloated and require more memory.
