Like 80% of americans are christians, so by percentages being christian is more normal

And what exactly would the problem be with homos being acceptable? In most major cities I have lived in Homos are considered pretty "acceptable". It doesn't seem to cause any problems.

because it is a lifestyle the majority of Americans does not view as acceptable. Is that hard to grasp. That is the problem with it. It is not accepted because of the way our society views it, religous or not, you can whine about that all you want but until you change the 80% of the religous people in this country it will not be acceptable.

I could careless honestly what someone does in their private time but when hollywood feeds us bullshit like that and tries to make it seem "normal" when the majority of the United States does not feel that it is and will not change this opinion it pisses me off. They already open their mouth and try to influence politics too much, I do not want them trying to tell me what to accept and what not, which is exactly what they are trying to do.

So Hollywood should only make films about "normal" things? That sounds like a great idea.

Think of all of the awesome movies we'd have. ha!

Brokeback mountian is making a ton of money, you can expect a ton of homo movies to follow.

Maybe they will have one about car mechanics, you could check it out.

It made alot of money because it was the first one. The ones that follow won't ;)

I appreciate the smartass remark too. Always nice to see those in a debate type discussion.

The Passion Of Christ was a sad movie although probably not very accurate. (I think I may have cried but can't remember)

The passion was a pretty good movie. i loved hearing the latin in it. Thought it was very cool that I could get a lot of the spoken latin lines from the courses I took in high school and college. :)

sounds like some people think gays "choose" to be that way. ridiculous. does a straight guy choose to like p*ssy?

i don't think the movie is making a TON of money but i'm sure the awards will help the box office and i think the film was not a high budget one.

This movie is number 1 in the U.k & France
and hit the top 5 at the U.S boxoffice.

Plus BB has won 3 Golden Globes and is now a BAFTA nominee.

I'm shocked at how small minded a bunch of you guys are. I expected more off grown men.
