I recently moved into a new house. How can I check without directly contacting Openreach whether I have FTTP or FTTC or fibre at all and not just good old fashioned Copper?

check speedtest.net. If your ping is less than 20, then you -probably- have fiber, depending on the distance from the server. If it's 20 or more then it's -probably- copper. You can also check the wire to your house line and compare it with pictures of fiber cables on the internet. Fiber cables are much thinner and more fragile than the old copper wires.
