Broadband - I don't want to remember the horror of having AOL. Random disconnections, slower than normal speeds, horrible service and outsourced support. How American are they? If I had to go back to Dial up, I would choose MSN cause they were nice and quick too :) Right now I'm using ATT which sometimes sucks.

there will very little people here using dial up i'd imagine. I mean DP isn't fast at loading at the best of times...on dial up it must be hellish.

I remember way back in 1996 when...you had to leave the computer to load a 150K file!!!!! I remember the day when you couldn't fathom downloading a 12 Meg file!! I remember the day when you got a lot of disconnections and buzy signals. I remember the day when compaired to today, the internet really stunk and domain registration cost $50 a year and you had no coice but to pay that price. (Think InterNIC.)

Been on broadband a few years now like most I'd guess .

Dont miss dial-up - click on link - make tea - drink tea - page loads ( on a good day )

oh & the local call rate phone billing , having to get off the line if someone wanted to make a call wasnt sorry to leave it behind ( & I normally manage to eek some nostalgia out of most things but not that :) ) .
